I would like know if is there any problem for Migration from Personal Oracle 7.3.4 to Oracle Enterprise Edition 8.0.5.

I have tried unsuccesfully. With the tool Oracle Database Migration Assistant(ORACLE 8), after installing Oracle 8 SW.
I get the error message in ORCLMIG80.LOG:3 ORA01017:invalid username/password;logon denied

When I connect with the same user (internal) and password, from CMDOS prompt, it is connected succesfuly.

It may want the password to be set to the default try that.

system/manager
sys/change_on_install

For Migration from Oracle 7 to Oracle 8 - what are the main steps we have to take care as far as application and database is concern ?
