Hello All,

Had an interview and the person asked me if I want to be a developer or SCM? What is SCM?

I would assume they were talking about Software Configuration Management (SCM).

The Acronym Finder suggests 73 results for SCM; not are possible solutions in your case, but it seems that you should have asked the interviewer.

I really can't believe you did not ask the guy. I mean, here's this guy interviewing you for a job and he asks a question you don't understand.
What did you do? Walk out on him? Guess the answer? No, ask him politely what exactly he means.
Job interviews are NOT one-way conversations. You are about to accept a job you will be stuck in for at least one or two years.
Better make sure it is what you expect it to be.
