Hi,

I have created a TEST database on a seperate server to 10g r2 LIVE, but the scheduler is running jobs in TEST. I have tried setting JOB_QUEUE_PROCESSES initialisation parameter to 0, but the schedules still run. I have disabled all the jobs after starting the TEST database, but I was wondering if there was a more effective method; maybe an initialization parameter or something?

Many thanks for any advice.

It depends it you use old jobs or new scheduler.
Old jobs are managed with JOB_QUEUE_PROCESSES, setting it to 0 disabled them.
New scheduler is managed by max_job_slave_processes or dbms_scheduler.set_scheduler_attribute.

Michel
