newbie javah test1 -- Class not found [message #265636]

I'm trying to do
javah -jni test1

and I get error message

class file for test1 not found

I have done a

Set CLASS_PATH=C:\mydir

What am I missing?

EXACTLY what does this have to do with Oracle?
Can't you find a JAVA forum to post such questions?

Based upon what "information" did you conclude that Oracle FAQ is/was a "JAVA forum"?
